You Are God’s Greatest Joy

Psalm 139:13-18

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.

Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them!

Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you.

Matthew 10:30

But even the hairs of your head are all counted.

I am the creator of all. I knit you in your mother’s womb. There is nothing I don’t know about you. I love you. Every inch, corner, eye lash, strand of hair. I love you. I am in all things and in you. You are my greatest joy.

God loves every speck of you. He knows the number of hairs on your head, he formed you in your mother’s womb, YOU are His greatest joy.

The waters of the earth flow through your body. With each step you feel the ground He created. As your eyes scan the horizon, the beauty before you, He designed. The song of songbirds, produced for you. It’s the orchestra of perfection. A rhythm of undying love. How great is His love. His thoughts of you outnumber the grains of sand. It’s everlasting. An unyielding love. Pause and embrace His love as it’s in all things, and in you, as you are created in His image. The image of pure love.

Dear God,

Such beauty, my heart can’t escape. Is it in your embrace or all you created. The sun rays peeking through the wooded greens, the musical notes of nature or the breath you gave me. You are my love. My light. Nothing will separate me from you. You are my everything. I love you.

Where can I find you. In the whispers of the wind, the sun rays that kiss my cheeks. In the ocean waves or meandering paths. Help me find you. As you are my love. My eternity. You are the breath of my soul. The painter. Weaver. Master of colour. How great is your love.

An eternal love shown throughout the ages, like the calm of the ocean, spreading beyond the horizon, with deep crevasses, moving as a gentle breeze kissing my cheek, lifting my hair off my shoulders, held in your love.

Jeremiah 31:3

The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying:

“I have loved you with an everlasting love, I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.”

You are so loved.

I am with you always in the shadows—shining my Glory for you to see.

It’s the season to rejoice. To be swept away in His immense love. Pick up your yoke, follow Him, for He will never let go.

His Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path (Psalm 119:105). He lights your way, guided by His words. Give thanks to the Lord, for His mercy is everlasting. (Psalm 118:29).

Philippians 4:4:

"Rejoice in the Lord always, again I will say, rejoice!”

Rejoice in His faithfulness, mercy, kindness, and salvation. Dive in and celebrate His everlasting love. For His love is eternal, constant, and never wavers.

The love of God is what you seek. In Him, you’re no longer alone. For He is your rock, His rod and staff comfort you. He lifts you out of the darkness and into the light. Your fears, worries, and doubts fade into dust, replaced by His love for you.

You are loved more than you know. Walk in peace amongst the lilies of the valley. Glorify God and all He has given so you may live again.

How do you rejoice?

  • Worship the Lord with song!

  • Meditate on scripture that praises the Lord.

  • Delight in Him always.

I recall a time when I was ill with a stomach virus. It was very painful. However, in my crippled discomfort, the Holy Spirit of my Lord, played worship music continuously in my mind. God was there to comfort me and remind me He was there to lean on. I allowed this rhythm to flow in my body as it soothed the stress and pain. It enabled me to cope knowing the God of all creation was there with me. It was a moment of intimacy and love.

Have you ever experienced similar moments? Moments where you feel down, yucky inside, irritable and annoyed. Then you hear your favorite melody on the radio. You find yourself singing and then the anxiety you felt moments before melts away. It’s in worshipping and praising the Lord, even when things are dark, that His light breaks through and lifts you out of the storm.

It’s the rhythm that breaks chains that bind us.

Rhythm that fills the soul where you want to soar like an Eagle.

Musical notes that spread joy like a rapid fire in your veins.

It washes away anger, despair, hopelessness, and anoints with the joy of the Holy Spirit. Refreshing you with living water. A harmonious partnership with God that can never be broken.

As a writer who creates prayer journals, I created a journal to remind you how much God loves you. In my journey, I’m reminded repeatedly of this truth.

“I shower you with blessings from living water. I surround you with myrrh and fresh oils. Bathe in its sweetness, knowing my love endures forever.”

It gives me comfort, joy, strength to know He is here with me, even when I’m not there for Him.

You’re human. There are times when you’re too busy to spend time with the one who loves you. Or the trials and tribulations of life become too heavy you become resistant to His love. However, life on earth is a testing ground. God will test you because He loves you. He sees the real you, your beauty, potential, He feels your joy and your pain. Moreover, He wants you to focus on Him, as its through Him your paths are made straight.

Proverbs 3:5-6:

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths."

It’s the journey. I know how difficult it can be. I’ve had moments of feeling completely lost then uplifted when God confirmed my path. I felt weightless knowing I was on the right path in serving Him. This revelation gave me determination and filled me with joy. A path set in creating Prayer Journals and blogging.

This is the third journal I’ve created. Each one has a theme. The first, “What is Prayer”, the second based on John 3:30, “He must Increase, I must Decrease”, and this journal written to remind you to rejoice and embrace God’s unyielding love for you, no matter your season, as God wants you to hear your prayers for help, to lean on Him for strength, and to rejoice in His love.

May your heart overflow with His love so you can be His shining star, forever loved.

Prayer is powerful, intimate, and personal. It’s also a petition to our Heavenly Father to intercede on behalf of others. Mostly, it’s communicating and expressing with heart felt passion, to a God who sacrificed everything to break the curse of sin that separated you from Him. He desires to hear your words, be in His presence, and learn to love Him more and more.

The Prayer Journals are available as a digital download at my ETSY Store, Archway Designs by CFC Studios.

new age to Christianity

Blog-Twisted Roots

Do you find yourself asking questions about new age, whether the practices and beliefs are leading your soul to redemption?

As a reformed new ager, I was saturated in the belief I could co-create with the universe and manifest a life of abundance. But I was deceived. This blog is to point you to the truth of God’s words and how He perceives the new age indoctrination. It also highlights other areas to inspire and encourage Christians in their walk of faith.

Prayer Journal

To help you in your journey, I created a Prayer Journal, to build a closer bond with Christ Jesus.

As you grow in your faith, it’s important to dedicate time to be with God in prayer, a quiet space to meet with Him, and invite Him into your daily thoughts. In doing so, you will experience His peace and presence in every aspect of your life.

Fine Art Photography

I always dreamed of being a professional photographer when I grew up. It was a journey to reach this goal. When the opportunity presented itself, I knew it was time to fulfill my dream.

I owned a home-based studio for over a decade but have been shooting images for two decades. Now, semi-retired, I have a collection of my most cherished images of landscape or fine art available for wall décor.
