I never imagined the depth of God’s love on an intimate level, as I viewed the Song of Solomon as love letters between a bride and groom. I didn’t interpret it as being the bride in the eyes of God.

You can’t cling to your depravity as an excuse.

In the Bible, depravity is referred to our sinful and corrupt nature resulting from original sin. Daily we sin, however, it’s easy to blame being born with sin for your actions.

Sin comes in many forms, my worst, is resistance, especially when I’m hurting. When life throws a punch, I buckle. How about you? Do you let the circumstances of your life weigh you down?

The power of words is the enemy’s weapon in defeating you by playing lies about who you are in your thoughts or allowing words from others change the course of your life. They can define your behaviours, actions, and reactions as the seed planted deepens and keeps you in this mindset.

However, you have the choice to continue believing a lie or do something to change it.
