How Jesus is Everywhere
In John 1:1-3 he writes ‘in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God. All things came into being through Him.’
This is a powerful statement as it recognizes that Jesus has always been with the Father, and everything was created through and in Him. He is the authority over heaven and earth (Philippians 2:9-10.)
There is no place in this universe over which Jesus has not been given authority. His authority penetrates every realm and sphere of influence.
~Roland Barnes
In essence, Jesus is in everything. He is omnipresent and can present Himself at any moment.
In new age culture, people believe the universe is in everything—the energy in all living things—plants, animals, rocks, crystals, ocean, mother earth, and we’re connected by that energy. As a previous new ager, I believe this to be true; however, with renewed clarity. The energy is the power of God, our creator. It’s His essence—the fabric in everything we see, touch, smell, and breathe. He is the sunlight, the perfumed scent in a flower, the colour in lush meadows, the gentle breeze that grazes your cheek, and the sparkling eyes and laughter of a child.
God created this beautiful earth for you to thrive in through Jesus, who reigns with authority and intercedes on your behalf through the Holy Spirit. With the sweeping breath of the Holy Spirit, you can be brought down to your knees when you surrender your life to Him. With the Holy Spirit you’re connected to brothers and sisters in Christ, as Jesus works through them to provide guidance, encouragement, support, by delivering words you need to hear through relationships and prayer.
How does God and Jesus communicate?
The Word
Anointed Teachers
Christians
Dreams / Visions
Stillness / Prayer
The Word
When you meditate on the Word, it brings you closer to God and to His Son, Jesus. It provides wisdom and a weapon against the enemy. This is apparent when Jesus is tempted in the desert by Satan. Every answer He provided was from scripture (Matthew 4:1-11).
As you read the Word, certain passages will resonate deeply. This is the Holy Spirit revealing what you need to learn, guiding you to grow in your relationship with Christ.
The Word has been described as ‘food for the soul’. The more you read, the more your soul desires, as it brings you closer to Jesus, and His Father.
Anointed Teachers
Many are called to serve and teach the Word of God. Most are church leaders that inspire, encourage, and lead with conviction to teach you about the Word of God and to repent.
Anointed teachers teach scripture and remain focused on God’s word with Jesus as the center. They digest and explain the Word to help you understand God’s purpose, message, and salvation through Christ.
Christians
When you become a believer in Jesus Christ, you enter a new family. A family that supports each other through prayer, sharing testimony, and planting seeds of God’s good will.
Jesus shines through them and communicates through the Holy Spirit, which includes messages for you. When you ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior, you inherit Him. He is with you always. Matthew 28:20, ‘I am always with you.’ You will hear His voice, and He will guide you.
Dreams / Visions
In Joel 2:28, God promised, “I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams, and your young men will see visions.” Dreams and visions are two ways God speaks to His children.
Daniel 1:17
To these four young men God gave knowledge and understanding of all kinds of literature and learning. And Daniel could understand visions and dreams of all kinds.
The well-known dream of Jacob’s Ladder:
“He had a dream in which he saw a stairway resting on the earth, with its top reaching to heaven, and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. There above it stood the Lord, and he said: “I am the Lord, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac.
I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.”
When Jacob awoke from his sleep, he thought, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I was not aware of it.” He was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God; this is the gate of heaven.”
It’s in the dream state God sends messages through His angels to make you aware of a situation you need to deal with, to show you a truth, prophesy, or provide comfort. I share this dream as an example.
I dreamt of walking among the oppressed. People with no hope, withered, desolate, with evil lurking in the shadows, always close, watching with a keen eye. I felt hopelessness and despair.
Then the dream shifted where I was sad, curled up on a couch with a blanket wrapped around me. There were other women in the room I didn’t know. One reached out, and I learned the women were Christians. I was overwhelmed with gratitude, sat up, as the women gathered and surrounded me in a loving hug.
Both scenes completely different other than the factor of sadness, which is key. Darkness waits as a hungry lion to devour, and destroy, John 10:10...’the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy’. However, Jesus comes so you may have life and have it to the full.
In this dream I was shown the despair of many who are hopeless and my own struggle to rise above life’s challenges. However, the dream revealed the love of Jesus through the women as He never stops loving you.
Stillness
What does stillness before the Lord mean? Psalm 46:10 instructs, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” The words ‘be still’ are translated from the Hebrew word, ‘harpu’, which means “to let go, to release” or “to cause to let go”.
It’s in your surrender and release of inner turmoil through prayer to Jesus you find healing. More importantly, it’s a time of stillness. You offer up your praises and prayers, then sit in silence to wait for His response through the Holy Spirit. It’s in these precious moments; you practice discernment and receive guidance. It's the most effective method for Jesus to communicate when you’re in a position of complete surrender, offering your mind, heart and soul, to Him.
However, I’ve learned Jesus also communicates when you’re in a state of quiet solitude and peace. It can be while you worship at church, which has occurred to me more than once, or walking amongst the trees.
I walk in a nearby park with extensive pathways that lead to a creek, surrounded by trees, and variety of bushes. You can get lost as its length is 66 km’s, broken into segments. My path is an uphill climb, secluded, and it’s in this place the Holy Spirit has communicated to me numerous times. I call it my “heaven climb”. The important factor— my heart, mind, soul, were in stillness and awe of being surrounded by God’s creation, opening the door for Him to communicate.
What you need to remember is...
Proverbs 15:3
The eyes of the Lord are in every place, watching the evil and the good.
Jesus is everywhere. He waits for you in the light, for that open glimmer where He can intervene, communicate, and guide you to salvation.
He is in everything and dwells inside each person who has called upon Him. I didn’t realize this fully until I joined a group, Sisters, at my church. In this group, we participate in Bible Study and share our stories and prayers. Through this connection and prayer, I’ve seen how the Holy Spirit is revealed through their support, encouragement and generosity. It’s beautiful and has taught me that as a child of God, you’re not alone.
To help you in your journey, I created a Prayer Journal, to build a closer bond with Christ Jesus.
As you grow in your faith, it’s important to dedicate time to be with God in prayer, a quiet space to meet with Him, and invite Him into your daily thoughts. In doing so, you will experience His peace and presence in every aspect of your life.
The Prayer Journal includes…
The journal is in a digital format where you can print numerous copies of each page. The design is based on a variety of different formats to enhance your relationship and prayer time with Christ Jesus.
Prayer is powerful, intimate, and personal. It’s also a petition to our Heavenly Father to intercede on behalf of others. Mostly, it’s communicating and expressing with heart felt passion, to a God who sacrificed everything to break the curse of sin that separated you from Him. He desires to hear your words, be in His presence, and learn to love Him more and more.
The Prayer Journal is available as a digital download at my ETSY Store, Archway Designs by CFC Studios.

Blog-Twisted Roots
Do you find yourself asking questions about new age, whether the practices and beliefs are leading your soul to redemption?
As a reformed new ager, I was saturated in the belief I could co-create with the universe and manifest a life of abundance. But I was deceived. This blog is to point you to the truth of God’s words and how He perceives the new age indoctrination.
Fine Art Photography
I always dreamed of being a professional photographer when I grew up. It was a journey to reach this goal, but I did it!
I owned a home-based studio for over a decade but have been shooting images for two decades. Now, semi-retired, I have a collection of my most cherished images of landscape or nature available for wall décor.
