We serve a purpose in a world of chaos. To stand tall in the Light of Christ. To be planted in the Holy Spirit and view life with open eyes. Not from a place of anger, disappointment, envy, or resentment. But to rise above these challenges and learn how to grow in the seeds of the written word. To embrace the lion of courage, strength, and compassion—always moving forward into the light and away from darkness.
To breathe in the fresh air and allow your eyes to scan the canvas of God’s creation.
To walk in the footsteps of the counsellor and almighty God, through his son, Jesus.
God desires us to live peaceful lives and not to serve thoughts of lack, but to override those thoughts with faith.
Explore life with faith and trust you will always be cared for. As Jesus will take your hand, lead you away from temptation and fulfill an empty cup so it overflows with joy.
Jesus is here. He is all around you, waiting to lead you out of the darkness and into the light.
It’s joy I hold in my heart and a knowing I’m cleansed from the sinner I was, saved by his grace from following a culture that led me away from him, new age.
New age is an indoctrination where you believe you’re on a spiritual path. That you are energy in a human container and can co-create with source, the universe, divine or whatever you believe in.
But I only found periods of joy and immense darkness. I write about my story of resistance and experiencing the dark night of the soul, in my blog. Still, when I think of summer 2022, I shudder at how I was so controlled by the darkness that is spreading across the land, casting us in states of shadow, where hope is buried deep in a well of despair.
New age doesn’t offer salvation. It doesn’t lead you to God or the truth that his Son died for our sins. It’s a veil of deception and sucks you in as you witness signs, synchronicities, making you believe your connected to the great creator. But you are being misled if you believe anything from new age is saving you. You may experience shifts of energy by evolving into a person who becomes more loving and accepting but true salvation comes from Jesus.
Before being saved, I felt lost. I didn’t recognize my own reflection. Being in my sixties, with no job, no money and a marriage that has beaten me to the ground with verbal abuse for 28 years, I fell into the abyss. I did my utmost to stay positive, as in new age, the law of attraction applies to everything and being positive is key to manifest your dream life. After six years of deeply being committed to new age, the only thing I got from it, was exposing myself to darkness.
When I read this scripture...
Deuteronomy 18:10-11
There shall not be found among you anyone who burns his son or his daughter as an offering, anyone who practices divination or tells fortunes or interprets omens, or a sorcerer or a charmer or a medium or a necromancer or cone who inquires of the dead, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord.
It brought me to me my knees in shame as I defiled God. Today, I am grateful to be saved and learning the love, compassion, authority, and wisdom of his son, Jesus.
He is the lamp in the darkness that is the true path to enlightenment.
My purpose now is to point others away from new age to Jesus. To show you the truth so you can make a choice on what to believe.
Life is built on a variety of beliefs, but what you believe in spiritually will remain with you after you’ve turned to dust. Whatever decision you make, you make for the sanctity of your soul. But the choice is only for you to make.
