My hubby urged me to go out for a drive, but it was snowy, the wind was blowing, and I didn’t see the point, as everything was a white out.
But as we travelled the backroads in the County of Newell, Alberta, the snow cleared enough to capture this image.
It was the first image I entered in the provincial professional photographer’s association competition. It received a Merit, which is like a silver medal.
I was so excited!
Many times, I’ve had to say thank you to my hubby for convincing me to go out on a day, where all I wanted to do, was read a good book, and enjoy a hot chocolate smothered in marshmallows.
