Mount Chephren is located on one of the most scenic highways in Banff National Park along the Mistaya River Valley.
Its majestic peak is 10,850 ft.
I’ve tried a number of times to capture its beauty, but whenever we were able to travel, the top of the peak was missing in action behind cloud cover.
What’s really interesting is the mountain is named after a fourth Dynasty Egyptian Pharaoh.
