I’m going to break down and admit that I began my passion for photography with film. That’s right...the olden days.
What I loved about film, and the reason I delayed changing to digital, was the color saturation you’d get from slide film.
The color was rich and vibrant. Plus, you could sandwich slides together to create impressions that were so awesome, a feature, I absolutely loved playing with.
When I changed to digital, I wanted to re-create that artistic look, which I accomplished with multiple exposures.
Mystic Owl is an example of a multiple exposure that was entered in the national Photographic Association for Professional Photographers under the art category, and, to my surprise, was accepted! I was beyond excited, as they were numerous submissions in this category. But what’s important was the ability to create an image that is completely unique.
