How God Intervenes to Reveal Truth
When you observe people, you create an opinion based on appearance, actions and body language. In some cases, your opinion may be accurate, but what if you’re wrong.
It leads me to the famous story by Jane Austin, Pride and Prejudice. The main characters assumed inaccuracies about the other, which led to false judgements and painful consequences. It was only through a series of events and encounters; they learned the truth. When this awareness became apparent, the love that laid hidden behind lies, was realized.
How many times have you viewed people, formed an opinion on their character, shared it with others, then realized the falsehood of your perception. Like the old saying, ‘never judge a book by its cover’. People are seldom who you think they are. You may encounter a person dressed in shabby clothes, driving a beat-up truck, only to find out the man is rich in character and wealthy. Take the actor, Keanu Reeves. He’s eaten amongst the homeless, and taken transit, offering his seat to others. If you saw him in these locations, would you believe it was him. Probably not, as your perception is based on what you know on his Hollywood career.
There are many that live a lifestyle according to their wealth. Host parties, travel, and lavish the spending of their millions. On the flipside there are many that don’t. There are also people who appear as who they’re not. They look rich, confident, but in truth, have no money and are insecure. However, there is always a story of their truth. Perhaps they’re expected to blend in to feel accepted or been gifted expensive jewellery and clothes and are simply taking advantage wearing them.
Only you know the truth about who you are. However, God, our loving creator knows you intimately. And He knows each member of His flock and desires peace and harmony.
I learned this today.
I formed an opinion on someone and shared it with a friend. Later the same day, I had an encounter with this person, who was compassionate, prayed a prayer for me, and shared an accurate revelation of my circumstance. She approached me in a coffee shop with her sister who had eyes that sparkled excitement as she recognized me from their church.
I shared the event with my friend, who’d been thinking of this person based on what I said; however, God revealed to me that no matter what opinion I formed, this person is His child. A child He loves.
He taught me observations can lead to opinions that aren’t always accurate, to accept people as they are, for they are His creations. His family. God knows their flaws, and He will guide them to righteousness.
The fact God revealed the truth the same day I shared my thoughts was awe-inspiring, as it corrected my false interpretation and breeding further.
Too often we place labels on people, unaware of their circumstances, and never think we’re wrong. However, when you share this judgement with another, you plant a seed that leads to deception, as people are attracted to gossip, and won’t question your words.
Gossip destroys connections and relationships. It leaves an imprint and trail of misperceptions. In every instance, seek out the truth and ponder on God’s word before you utter a word about another person.
God will always present the truth if you’re open to His guiding light.
He has a plan for His children, a desire for us to live in harmony and spread words with pure intentions. However, if you misjudge, His righteous right hand will gently guide you to the truth, before dissention births division.
God Bless,

Blog-Twisted Roots
Do you find yourself asking questions about new age, whether the practices and beliefs are leading your soul to redemption?
As a reformed new ager, I was saturated in the belief I could co-create with the universe and manifest a life of abundance. But I was deceived. This blog is to point you to the truth of God’s words and how He perceives the new age indoctrination.
Fine Art Photography
I always dreamed of being a professional photographer when I grew up. It was a journey to reach this goal, but I did it!
I owned a home-based studio for over a decade but have been shooting images for two decades. Now, semi-retired, I have a collection of my most cherished images of landscape or nature available for wall décor.
