A Love Letter
Dear Heavenly Father,
How my heart weeps for you. You created the earth and all living creatures. You created man to love and cherish. Yet, we dishonor you.
I feel the tears you mourned as you heard the life blood cries of Able vanquish into the earth. How your heart overflowed with grief when you saw the evil in the hearts of man, and with a grievous heart, wiped the earth clean to begin anew. The rains came, tears of sadness ending all you had created. My heart weeps for you, my Almighty God.
But evil persevered in the hearts of man. Your covenant unbroken, you sent your only beloved Son to be the light in the darkness. To give us the choice to be renewed through the blood of His sacrifice.
Yet, evil continues. It runs as deep as the ocean. How you must weep when you see the horrors man commits against man.
Despite our wretchedness, I thank you for your patience, and being a tolerant God. I thank you for your forgiveness, your mercy, and most of all, being guided to your loving embrace.
But not all is lost, my Almighty God. People are being lifted out of the darkness and into the light through the blood of your beloved Son. Your word has become living water for those who choose to learn to love you.
You are a loving God; however, you are also just. And the time grows near. The birthing pains have begun. The earth in revolt with all forms of natural disasters, and humanity at war over different beliefs and cultures.
The Alpha and Omega soon to arrive on his white horse. With His breath, your enemies will return to dust, and a new dawn will be born. Will your tears cease then, my Almighty God?
It’s written we’ll have a thousand years of peace. I pray then I can give you a loving embrace for all you have given, sacrificed, grieved, and allow me to comfort you, my loving Heavenly Father who resides over heaven and earth. A Father who sees the hearts of man yet loves us despite our wickedness.
May every knee bow down to your glory when that day comes.
May we show you comfort and be thankful for all you have given. Grateful for a new life. A new beginning. A life of peace and harmony. A life where we walk beside you. To learn, grow, and love you with every breath. Such a day where all creation will dance with joy, and we’ll cry, “Glory to God in the Highest!” Your peace will spread over creation like a pure white robe, covering us with your endless love. Such a victorious day that will be!
Indeed, such a day will break open the stars and a new Eden will be born.
Thank you, Almighty God, for this new life to rejoice and celebrate your love!
May we hold in our hearts your kindness, compassion, and desire to thrive in peace with you at our side.
