The True Path to be Reborn and Transformed
As a reformed new ager, one of the things I delighted in was witnessing signs from the universe such as repetitive numbers, a sign in answer to a question, or signs from Mother Earth, in the form of animals or insects, such as a dragonfly or butterfly, both symbolic of new beginnings, transformation, renewal, based on their cycle of metamorphosis. Same as the Lotus Flower, it blooms a beautiful flower out of murky muddy waters. A symbol of the trials and tribulations of life, and renewal.
I believed in these signs, as I witnessed changes in myself. I was happy that with help from books, spiritual coaches, healers, signs from the universe and mother earth, I was making progress, shifting my energy, and growing on a spiritual level.
This is what makes new age easy to be swept away in. Everything appears magical. This amazing awareness your connected to everything, guided by the universe, or spirit guides, or angels. After meditating over a period of six months my dreams became extremely vivid. I began to receive visions when I meditated. A gift known as clairvoyance in new age.
My visions and vivid dreams helped me learn more about myself. I wrote stories on my dreams, with interpretations and messages. I recorded my dreams for years to learn patterns and messages from my higher self and began to write a book on the dreamworld. I promoted this concept on social media. On occasion, I’d receive messages in my mind, I believed were channelled from my spirit guides or angels.
But what does it lead to?
Where do channelled messages really come from?
Can these beliefs give you salvation?
I’m sorry to say, it doesn’t.
The devil can trick you. He has certain powers, but he is not an omnipotent presence. He has his gremlins doing the work for him, whispering lies to trick you into believing the universe is an omnipotent energy. That seeing signs from Mother Earth, visions, and vivid dreams, are all related to being connected to everyone down to the last blade of grass.
The real question to ask, is there a hell?
The following is an excerpt from Christian Living, written by Leslie Schmucker...
“Jesus doesn’t only reference hell, he describes it in great detail. He says it is a place of eternal torment (Luke 16:23), of unquenchable fire (Mark 9:43), where the worm does not die (Mark 9:48), where people will gnash their teeth in anguish and regret (Matt. 13:42), and from which there is no return, even to warn loved ones (Luke 16:19–31). He calls hell a place of “outer darkness” (Matt. 25:30), comparing it to “Gehenna” (Matt. 10:28), which was a trash dump outside the walls of Jerusalem where rubbish was burned and maggots abounded.
Jesus talks about hell more than he talks about heaven and describes it more vividly. There’s no denying that Jesus knew, believed, and warned about the absolute reality of hell.”
I believe the devil is laughing in the background at his grandiose scheme to make you believe the universe is a source of all knowing. That it hears your manifestations and makes them real. For many, it happens. Some become spiritual coaches to share their success story and lead you further away from God.
There is only way to being saved and that is through Jesus Christ.
God’s wrath is real.
2 Chronicles 33:6
He sacrificed his sons in the fire in the Valley of Hinnom, practiced sorcery, divination, and witchcraft, and consulted mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the eyes of the Lord, provoking him to anger.
Like the ticking of the clock, each heartbeat leads you towards the path you follow.
I know wholeheartedly the written word is the word of God.
The Bible can be read in nearly 700 different languages. The New Testament in 1,500 languages making the Bible the most translated book in history.
The validity of content for the New Testament has been challenged and it’s proven that over 99% is pure.
What does that mean?
God is our creator, who created the universe and all living things. In His compassion and love for us, He sent his only Son as a lamb to be sacrificed so we can make the choice to accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior and be saved.
We are given the gift of one life, not many like new agers believe. One life. One chance to make the right choice.
