Don’t worry...you are loved more than the birds in the air
We worry about finances...
if others like us
what to wear
where to live
our health
when our sons and daughters leave home for the first time.
the happiness and safety of loved ones.
However, worrying creates scenarios that aren’t real. An illusion of false emotions that increases stress levels and can cause physical and mental health issues.
So, why do we worry?
We worry from daily stresses, trauma, false beliefs, and then allow fear to take control.
How do you overcome worry?
In new age, worry is addressed with positive affirmations on being worthy to receive divine guidance, to overcome the feeling of lack, ease fearful thoughts with mindful meditation, breathing exercises to calm your nerves, or conduct a body scan. This is a meditation where you tune into your body and start from the top of your head and visually move down your body to determine areas where you feel resistance or a tightness.
These areas are related to one of the seven major chakras, a concept of energy centers in the body meaning ‘wheel of light’ derived from Vedic scriptures, believed to be ancient religious texts for Hindus, who believed were received by scholars direct from God. The purpose, to work with chakras, which is also related to yoga, to understand self and use these energy wheels for transformation.
This meditation leads a person to believe they can transform their mind, body, soul, and heal the worries of their life with meditation, deep breathing, and yoga.
In scripture, Jesus says this about worry:
Matthew 7:7-25
Therefore, I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?”
Matthew 7:7-34
Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Jesus says, if the heavenly Father feeds the birds in the air, would he not provide for us, who are more worthy?
He further explains... worry holds no value to how you spend your time, and that each day has enough trouble without adding worry to the list of daily indiscretions.
To be riddled with worry only adds more gray hairs to your head, among other health issues. Mostly, it causes you to seek alternate methods to bring calmness into your life.
When it comes to healing, there are 41 versus in the Bible where Jesus heals. There is no mention of Vedic scriptures or using chakras as energy centers to heal. Jesus heals through the will of his Father, and his disciples healed through the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Any remedy I used as a former new ager offered no permanent change to my state of well-being. I constantly searched for answers. Jumping from one spiritual coach to another. But as a child of Christ, I am finally and joyously healed.
I used to awaken with a bombardment of negative chatter in my head, which led to worry, anxiety, and illusions that weren’t real. Now, I awaken to peace and calm.
God is constant, never changing, His arms open, to whoever seeks Him through the Son of Man.
New age offers remedies that will calm you. The question to ask, do these remedies offer you ultimate peace and joy.
Hi, I’m Cathy.
A blogger, photographer, author, pointing people away from new age indoctrination to find redemption in Jesus Christ.
I’m a mixed blend, excited to share all I offer...
Do you find yourself asking questions about new age, whether the practices and beliefs are leading your soul to redemption?
As a reformed new ager, I was saturated in the belief I could co-create with the universe and manifest a life of abundance. But I was deceived. This blog is to point you to the truth of God’s words and how He perceives the new age indoctrination.

I always dreamed of being a professional photographer when I grew up. It was a journey to reach this goal, but I did it!
I owned a home-based studio for over a decade but have been shooting images for two decades. Now, semi-retired, I have a collection of my most cherished images of landscape or nature available for wall décor.
